Google Play adds 25 more locations to buy products in their local currencies

If you are an Android app developer who publishes apps for price or selling in-app products, now you have 25 more reasons to be happy. Google today added 25 more locations. People from these 25 locations can purchase products from Google Play Store in their local currencies. This is going to be a welcoming factor for more users from these countries to purchase more products.

If you are a developer and have applications on the Play Store:

  • If you have manually set pricing for locations: Google Play will not alter them and you can go to the developer console and make appropriate changes.
  • If you have NOT manually set pricing for locations: You don't have to make any changes in program listing as Google will automatically take care of assigning prices based on default prices. This update will get start rolling out from next week on wards (12th February 2014).
